    Got a chance to take the Ace 250 out for a little hunting!

    Found a few thawed areas down to about 4-6 inches by my house. Found several targets even a copper penny! Come on thaw!!!!!!!

    Got my 4.5 sniper coil !

    Cranked the sens up wide open 7inchs on an IH and stable! - Super stable......Got a great deal from Big Red on it! TKS. Id be more impressed if it melted ice so i could hunt!!!! Can't wait to get out!!!!!! Only about 40 days left.........:rage:

    VLF / PI Freq. Question????

    If I understand this right VLF lower freq. work better for finding High conductive targets and higher freqs. work better for Low conductive targets.     Queston about the Ace 250 and coil changes....

    I've got the 4.5 sniper coil ER for my ace. Does the unit need to be recalibrated for max preformance?? I know from past exp with other machines sometimes the GB or Disc/ID gets out of wack. Still snowed in

    Took the Ace 250 out for a walk.......yep still froze!!

    Had a heatwave of 36 so I figured why not go outside and play........ I was finding lot's of good sounding targets. Was using a Leshe Sampson digger, I needed a hammer and a chisel.     Did some testing with my Ace 250

    Pulled out some of mine and the wife's jewelry to see where they hit on the TID. Some results were suprising. I'll try to do an individul break down w/ weights/ k / TID locations. Some rings thay were pretty big hit as foil? Most fell in the nickle range. If I have time I'll drag out some more...
