    Looking for a good lazy ID machine - Ace 250???

    Really just want a good ID machine to coinshoot with. Good on nickels? Last Garrett I used was the GTI 2500. FYI the GTI 2500 kicks butt in the am mode, found lots of good CW stuff with it, was just darn heavy!!

    Since were talking about coils, here's my question....Does KHZ matter??

    Have several Tesoro's some are 12khz and some are 10khz, does it matter which coils I use?? Would I see better results using a 10khz coil on the 10khz machine??? Also any way to tell by seriel ## what KHZ??? Or are they so close it does not matter?????

    Question: My trusty 7 inch coil has gone nuts

    After doing some reading I'm not so sad to have come north......

    Been looking at coils for the XLT......

    What's the deal with the super thick coils??? Royal 800- 5.3 etc..... I like the 9.5 on my BHID THIN!!!!!! Any advantage to making them thicker or are they just easier to build that way???

    Well I made my desision........

    Gonna get an XLT E. W/ 9.5 and 5.3 coils. Got a few months before I can use it, damm snow!!!! Gonna sell my Sov XS with DTI 3 meter and two coils 8 and 5 inch w/ rods 2 batt packs. Hoped to swap for one but prob just sell as my XS is a little old. May sell another machine to generate the $$$ needed.

    Is there a catch hunting program???

    Someway to program the machine to look for only larger objects at depth??? I see alot of programs for coin,silver and relic hunting but none for just locating buired catches. I would think there should be a way to set it up JUST to look for larger buired items?????????
