    This may be a dumb question but does it really matter about the tides???

    Very rarely do I check the tides before I go, here lately I've just been hunting the wet sand. Is it better to go at low tide so you have more wetsand to hunt??? Most of the time I'm just lucky to get to go hunting. Somebody inform me!

    Whites is speedy and helpful!

    When I got my BHID (used) one of the foam ear pieces was missing? Gremlins in the US mail!!! Anyway, scavanged one off a pair of gun muffs i had, too small but it works. I figured I'd contact Whites and order a new one, well I emailed, waited about 30 mins and got an email back, Todd said no...

    Three outings with the BHID 9.5 inch coil.... = Bling!!!

    More about the BHID : I've been talking to Joel in Winna....

    He tells me that some of the canidian coins hit/id sometimes as Iron/red light or flick between red and yellow. Any of yall seen this??? Also is the "ID" more accurate in all metal or disc?

    Pulltab hunting with the SR2......yeilds a ring, lol

    Took my Stingray 2 to a brackish water spot w/ 10.5 coil to look for some pulltabs..... lo and behold a ring showed up :~) Along with a pile of tabs and foil also a few coins. The SR2 does not like brackish water but it does work. 5 small dias 14k @ 2.1.

    Found this on a beach about 6 months ago

    Was using my old Sov XS. 14k 3.6g w/ small diamonds. This is how I caught the bug again after about a +5 year layoff. Of course, I hit it with my shovel, lol. Not a good pic have to get a real camera and quit using my phone.
