TIRED OF DIGGING BOTTLECAPS WITH YOUR ACE 350?? Here's a little trick..( I hope I didn't already post )

you can use in the field to knock those caps for a loop and it only takes seconds. I call it "Garrett's Logo Discriminator." To check your belltone to see if it's a bottlecap or a coin switch to "zero mode", center the target, drag the coil straight back, wiggling it gently side to side about an...

Iron discrimination on the 350 works great..

Ran a test with one of my field test items - a six inch, three eights-inch diameter, rusty nail bent ninety degrees at the end. Laid it and a quarter down next to each other. In all modes except zero the 350 belltoned on the quarter and was silent on the nail. Switching to zero mode it had no...

Cross one burglar off the list....

Some guy broke into a home to burglarize it and was confronted by the lady of the house who was armed. She smoked the dude right where he stood. Seems this neighborhood has been plagued with home burglaries and the homeowners have all armed themselves. Bet home break ins drop to zero in that...

Forgot to say - Got a check in the mail yesterday for a free $100..

Seems I was part of a class action suit against a drug company ( for overcharging for their drugs ) that I didn't know I was part of. So it was a nice surprise. The suit was settled for $355 million. Us poor folks split about $60 million while the big boys got $288 million. Bill

They had a sale so me and my buddy went to the "Big Boy's" toy store today ( Harbor Freight ).

My buddy blew $100 and I got out with only dropping $50. Picked up an 80 piece rotary tool set for only $9.99, which I thought was a deal. Didn't look at everything as it would have taken forever. The place is addicting. HA. They had an ample supply of their cheapo pinpointers for I believe...

Some Garrett trivia. A Christmas past when Garrett customers thought a Christmas ham was being delivered to their door instead of a shiny new Garrett

Garrett Metal Detectors had its humble beginnings in Charles Garrett's 200 square foot garage shop where for the Christmas of 1967 he had managed to build 25 detectors to fill orders from customers who had answered his ads in True West and Frontier Times magazines. Prior to this Charles had...
