    Ron, that's funny. I did the same thing about 10 years ago on the edge of an old Methodist Church. Dug up a rotted leather snap purse and immediately saw gold. It had at least 5 or 6 coins in it. All were French gold colored alum. from early WW@. Weird!. What a let down.

    The adaptor does not work with any of my head phones. My opinion: Terrible design feature from a good company. I will look for the Garrett MS-2 or the Minelab ML 85. I really appreciate all of your responses.

    Thanks Rick. The Xterra Pro does use a 1/8" jack. At least mine does. I do not like the 1/8" but that's what it is. I don't know why unless it was a "space" issue on the back of the head.     I've never even seen a 3D printer. Must be amazing technology. Also needs an amazing mind. I'm still back in the tube days when you could see what was happening.     Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Metal Detectors

    If AI does what some think it will do in detectors I see a bunch of old fat men and women looking for what's left like a rusty nail. At age 87, detecting gives me a lot of exercise just getting up and down on iffy targets. Actually getting down is easy, it's the getting up that's the hard part.
