Do you find panning for gold a waste of time or little us on owning a pan for your application of gold hunting? If you do use a pan, is it a particular color and size you like? Metal or plastic? Thanks.

Forgive my ignorance but some one who has all the minelabs posted on a yahoo forum that the Terra 70 is the best gold detector. Not knowing anything about this detector but formally owning a sovereign and Explorer how does this get high marks from someone who owns a GP4000?

What makes this T2 any good?

I mean is this just a flavor of the month, or does the T2 have serious advantages over other detectors? Any specialized applications does the T2 have like relic, coins, cache and why? Are there any other coil sizes other than the 11"? Thanks.

    GTI 2500 and beyond

Could anyone tell me if the 2500 has undergone any slight or even significant upgrades in the last 5 years. Also is there any rumor to a GTI3500 or the like? It seems to me that the DSP could be upgraded in that it is 7 year old technology or even older as it went through years of development.

    Cache hunting Question

Looking at Cache hunting again. Minelabs are out, don't like the sound of them in all metal. The PI's are IN but they are limited to the information they give and can detect deep but no nonmotion feature usually. Since you sometimes have to dig everything anyway no biggy. However sometimes...
