    The V3 comes with training

    Randy Smith from Treasure Electronics the Midwest distributor of Whites had a seminar last Sunday. There were maybe 12 Whites dealers there. We all went over the V3 and TDI. It was a 4 hour class. We received certificates for each machine. I have a better idea of how to set the machines up...

    The last two nights me and my "Eagle eye" wife went hunting. For Morels that is. She found 90% of them because the Propointer will not make a sound on them. Some of you know just how good these mushrooms are. Some may have never seen them. Also the Propointer simply has some yellow tape...

    With your gain at 4 it should be very quiet. So it does look like your doing the right thing by sending it back. Good luck.

    Reduce your sensitivity to 65. High sens and electrical interference will set any machine off. Especially inside your house.

    It sounds fishy to me. How do you pre order then get two machines? You would have to of paid for two machines? If you got two machines at the same time why would you already have sent the warranty in for both machines? I think it may be a Whites dealer? They are not suppose to sell new units...

    Some people are comparing price alone. The e-trac is $1500. I think the price of the Vision is very much in line with all the new technology it has. You have to love the wireless phones! I would love for White's to come out with a transmitter (dongle) that would convert all the other...

    I agree about comparing machines. Some people that say "I took X detector over my yard and found 12 coins that my Z brand didn't find". I don't even take these comparisons seriously. There are all sorts of reasons why more coins are found. I suspect it is simply you got your coil over them...

    Well if a detector could visually indicate a deep rusty it would look like the Vision may do it? Maybe we're all rushing in with questions. Let the users post their tips and tricks after some hunts and we'll know it's capabilities.

    What about deep rusty iron? Sometimes that shows up under a high coin? We know the 2.5 frequency will hit the higher conductors better. But would a clue to deep iron is that the high frequency would be on top while the VDI shows a high coin? To me if it was in fact a copper of better coin...
