    Mine is a couple of years old, so the stock coil is the 11 inch round. So, that is the 9x12. Hard to tell size at that perspective.

    Haven't had the Legend out in 4 or 5 months. Finally got out today for a bit less than 2 hours. $2.16 in clad, a crucifix which I hoped was silver but seemed to shiny (it wasn't), and some kid's cache of buried hot wheels. Got a 47 signal (between dime and quarter) and started digging. About...

    Legend External Battery

    I don't know that I've ever needed it, but like sprchng said, it's nice to have. Also, I find it actually serves as a nice counter weight for balance.
