    Deus 2 continues to impress

Nothing spectacular but the skeleton key, 2 wheat cents, clad dime, girl scout buckle, the silver plated piece, bent fork and spoon all were mixed in with heavy iron. Iron signals everywhere but was able to pick this stuff out. The flat button was found in a neutral spot. This detector is a...

XP you need to do better, headphones condition

That's a shame they were delivered to you that way. I didn't want to wait for these to come out so I purchased the GG headphones for the puck. Pleased with these so far.

    Civil war finds from today

Thanks. Can't complain when it's in the 50's and 60's here in Va. Won't last long though. But I'm ready for the colder stuff.

    Civil war finds from today

I see tons ( not literally) of bullets being dug. Some as much as 100 on a days dig.

    Civil war finds from today

Absolutely...this stretch of road, including all surrounding areas, in close proximity to Cold Harbor, still has areas that are not being developed (yet). Relics to be found here....still! Trying to get 'em though!

    Civil war finds from today

Thanks. There's a mini storage where we had permission to park and they have a small display of civil war relics in the office...bullets, buttons and a few other things that were found when they cleared the property for the storage buildings. Pretty cool.

Hit a spot just east of Mechanicsville Va today with the Deus 2. 7 bullets, finial, percussion cap, piece from an epaulette, 12 cents in clad and the usual junk. Thanks for looking.

Deus 2 finds for the day

Went to Mechanicsville today with a buddy for some relic hunting. We got permission to hunt a construction site but that didn't pan out. We walked down a gravel road close by and jumped in the woods. My take for the day...7 bullets, finial, percussion cap, a piece from an epaulette, 12 cents in...

Questions About Deus2 Headphones . . . Any Dealers Reading These Posts.?

Here's what I got from my local dealer...$15, works good. It has the 1/8 " headphone connection, but I had to get an additional plug to make the 1/4" headphones work. Good luck

    Yesterday's finds

Went down to Suffolk Va for some digging yesterday and got these in a very polluted iron site....iron signals on every swing! I was absolutely impressed with the separation on this detector. Some were not too deep and others had good depth...6-8". Buffalo nickel, no date, 1940 wheat cent, 2...

Taking others with you Metal Detecting

I don't really have a problem taking others onto my sites and they find some good stuff. Great that they do. I'm not greedy that way. Same goes when they return the favor and I find some goodies at their spots. My only beef is when they tell THEIR friends about my spots. It's happened once...
