    1810 militia buckle

    Found this buckle about 8" down on an old farm, can't find it on the net. It dosn't have the green patina over it more blackish gray. Any idea's and do you think it real. Farm date back to mid 1800's. Web site below has data about the buckle provided by Buckleboy from Treasure net site...

    Hot head coil

    I have a hot head coil I bought years ago and can't remember what detector I bought it for. At the time i used a Tesoro Silver Sabre (Org. Model) and a Fisher 555-D, I dought if I got it for my 1265X. Anyone know how to tell or how to check the coil out?

    Heard a lot of people loos the battery door on the 1270 so made a simple Velcro strap to go around control box, never fell out again.
