    I was an auto tech for 4 years and still tinker I've never seen a valve with a square stem there defiantly some sort of nail. My guess was tarp or canvas on wagon or buggy

    Not sure what would of been in something this shape I'm thinking salve or makeup. I realize it's been smoshed a little but I don't think it was more then about 3/8 inches thick. I like the threading on the lid.

    Thanks guys only my third silver but extra pumped it's as old as it is. I'm luck to be 10 mins from sites like this fairgrounds
