MXT vs IDX Pro with mods for coin shooting - how do they compare?
If I were to use the stock 9.5 coils on both units, which may be better? I see some use the relic mode on the MXT for coins, others use the coin/jelery mode. I guess I will possibly find out tomorrow first hand as the MXT is supposed to arrive then BUT I want to hit the ground up and running...- tony (Orlando FL)

Aside from the extra controls, how do the Classic ID and IDX Pro compare in performance?
I currently have a Classic ID and feel it does a very good job in the field. Its as solid as they come. I recently bought an IDX Pro that hasn't shipped as yet and am wondering if anyone knows how they may compare considering the areas I detect are not mineralized, just simple everyday soil...- tony (Orlando FL)

Is the C$ or Excel able to GB @ salt beaches?
Checked the messages and didn't really notice anyone ask if these units are capable of ground balancing in wet salt sand. IF the Excel can not GB to a particular location, does it try to gb as close as possible or does it default to some predetermined level? Thanks Tony- tony (Orlando FL)
