    Yes, that was an exceptional day! It's been a while since I have managed 4 coppers in 1 day. What mode were you using for field hunting Todd?

    Definitely still in the beta version. There could be a few more before they settle down and roll out the official V1. After that there will be occasional updates similar to the frequency of D1 updates I would guess.

    I use it all the time. Started using it about 7 years ago with the D1, and continue using it with the D2. Yeah if you have vision issues, I can see the arm band being really helpful.

    I haven't tried it yet Charlives. Didn't get out this weekend. But next weekend I will put the controller on the stem and use the PP function.

    That is an odd one Charlives. I saw your video so I know you are not hallucinating. ;) Why this just happened in Relic is a mystery. It definitely sounded like pinpoint mode needed to be detuned. But you would think it would sound like that no matter what program you happened to be hunting in.

    That sucks Foiled. The cam locks come apart easy enough. I saw where someone had placed a small bit of paper under the friction pad just to raise it up a bit.

    Not sure you want to do that. Not that it would damage the shaft but it might stop the cam locks from getting a good grip. On occasion I have had a ding in the shaft make it tough to open or close. Just take a bit of sandpaper or a small file to remove the burr. I do occasionally clean the shaft...

    I don't think they plan to come out with one for the D2. There are cell phone armband holders that might actually fit the D2 controller better than the D1 armband.

    Charging cables don't work

    They are tougher than they look. I got 5 years of hard use out of my first pair before one of the speakers failed. If I recall they were about $25 to replace.

Sure there may be a minor bug or two to work out but I can't imagine anyone who wants top performance from their detector in nearly every environment would be disappointed.     FOR SURE, not all the stock programs are built on the same platform and can not be replicated exactly by tweaking some settings.

    Agreed, the Deus 1 will not be obsolete. Still a top notch unit, especially in iron, Only the D2 surpasses it in iron.
