    I have a 5.3 black max coil that needed a new cable. I sent it in with a check to cover expenses. Got it back today and it was fixed free of charge. It was a pleasant change from the "minelab run around" I got the last time I had a detector problem. Whites is a super company.

    My sovereign has developed a faint background buzz in silent search. I need to get it checked out. Minelab won't let me talk to customer service. I get the we will call back routine. And they don't. Nor can I get return instructions. I called broken detector and they don't work on sovereigns...

    White's lower shaft?

    Will the whites lower shaft work on the X-terra without a lot of modification? I would like to have some extra shafts to make coil change easier and faster. For 10 bucks, the whites shafts seem like a good deal

    3 KHZ coil

    I just got a 3 KHZ coil for my 705. If I raise the sensitivity above 20, it chirps constantly. I tried noise cancel and GB, neither seemed to help. Is normal or do I have a bad one? All my other coils are stable with sensitivity set all the way to 30.

    Carpet of nails

    I found an old house place that was used as a hospital during the civil war. The area where the house stood is solid nails. I'm hunting it with the 705 but I would like to give it a good sovereignizing. I'm thinking I will get a solid null. I welcome any suggestions.

    Meter Update Speed ???

    I'm considering a new meter for the Sov. I have one that I made and it worked fine until I tried a Minelab meter. The ML had a faster update speed. Is the update speed on the Sunray fast also, or is it slower than the Minelab? Most people prefer the Sunray why?
