    I have an explorer XS and I was wondering when they were first made? There's an idea on the table at Minelab to consider anything over 10 years old unrepairable. These units will no longer be serviced. I would like to know if my detector falls under this category.

    Tejon Threshold?

    Does anybody know which pot adjust the threshold range on the Tejon?

    Silent Search??

    I don't understand the purpose of the silent search switch on the GT. All mine does is change the range of the threshold switch. Does this switch change the way the detector hunts?

    Explorer coil on a Sovereign?

    I was wondering if anyone has tried to put an explorer coil on a sovereign. It can't find a reason why it wouldn't work other than the plug. An adapter can be made from 2 different microphone plugs. They both operate multi-frequency.

    Quattro

    I had a quattro and when it would pick up a target, it would give the same signal on other targets until the threshold reset. If it picked up a nail then a coin, the coin would read like a nail if the threshold hadn't reset. I was wondering if this was ever fixed and if the new detector has this...

    Pinpointing deep targets

    I don't have a sovereign but I do have an explorer. One thing I noticed with it is the pinpoint function isn't real good on deep targets especially if there's trash close by. I was wondering how the sovereign compares with pinpointing? I've read a lot of good things about the Sovereign finding...
