    Vaquero ground balance ????

    I have always read that it's best way to ground balance is slightly positive to get better depth. This also requires putting up with more noise.     Pinpointing ??

    I have an explorer XS and I'm having trouble pinpointing deep coins. Any Ideas? or should I be shopping for a pinpointer. I really dont want the extra weight of a sunray. I'm thinking about a vibra probe 570 because of the size and ability to use it with my other detectors.

    wide scan coil

    I like the vaquero's depth but at the max depth the detection shrinks to a small area. I thinking about the 10 x 12" wide scan coil. I would like an opinion from someone that's tried one.
