    the 4x6 is more for tot lots / park type hunting......... my 5.3 had more depth........ think The 5.3 would be more suited for deep coin hunting

    it's not going to work on the 22.5 frequency, but see how it runs on the 7.5 (only frequency) should be able to really crank up the sensitivity to where it hits hard on the low conductors, and still get good VDI readings. let us know how it works out and if it pinpoints the same as the...

    Sitting in The easy chair and spending time to navigate & familiarize The menu system, really helps out when in The field for the first couple of hunts.

    The V3I also loves thin necklaces, where my past detectors don't see them :shrug: Investigate all your repeatable foil hits, especially if there shallow.

    Start with the stock beach program...... adjust your gains/sensitivities to your EMI / salt / black sand conditions to where your V3 is stable and no falsing .......This all varies from Beach to Beach Good luck & HH

    Is V3i/Vx3 in Wet Salt Beach as good as Minelab FBS?

    Think they where asking about FBS ........the Sovereign GT is BBS ....But I agree I find it very hard for anything to beat a Sovereign GT on a salt beach

    Probably a dumb question-----BUT

    By default the spectrograph is on the main search screen, and the sizing is on the analyzing screen (pin point trigger pointed forward) you can go into the expert menu and add polar plot to the analyzing screen but now you will lose sizing. it's all customized to your liken

    Bought a V3i Today Need advice

    While sitting in your ez chair at home , take the V3 and spend a hour or so and familiarize your self with the menu system helps also.

    While park hunting and your looking for Lost jewelry...........AVOID hunting near............. Picnic bench's..... sidelines at sports fields.........large trees. these places are loaded with pull tabs and are NOT A physically active place ...........think about it.......... anyone play...

    Coming back to Whites

    My necklaces finds have gone up 500% since having The V3 ..........Don't overlook the foil Range, when hunting on a physically active hunt site. Also The V3 is a nickel machine to......... I have several Clad nickel Targets in my test garden and The V3 hits them all like a 4 alarm fire bell...

    Do you Loctrac or Autotrac for moderate to mineralized soils?

    lately I have been using loctrac after Ground Balancing and have noticed that my VDI Numbers are not bouncing all around & are more stable / solid Readings. It's working good for me, it only take 3 minutes to try it. Good luck & HH
