I honestly think there should be a Findmall rule that any person who replies to an original post is NOT allowed to post unless they delete the info in

I can't believe how many posts on the other forums I see that have gadzillions of posts and they all say the same thing in the subject like. It really is annoying.....

So how many of you old salt's remember this stuff?

[attachment 174206 BonomoDisplayVanilla_450.jpg] Mmmmmmm! I liked the chocolate and vanilla. They also have strawberry and banana..... Did'ja know that you can buy it again? I just ordered some earler and it will be here this Friday. And for those "young" enough to remember Space Food Sticks...

    Wireless headphones or wired headphones?

You will like them a lot. My only gripe is the same gripe with any set of headphones.....sweatting into them. The are a bit heavier than wired headphoned but you get used to it real quickly.

O.K. Here's a question for the V3i people who also use the MXT...

...for MXT users so they could get used to the V3i. If you actually look at the configuration of the program, it is not very "hot" in its programming. One could tweak it for sure. But, in the long run, I did not buy the V3i to mimic the MXT.

Pam and I are back from the hunt in Hastings, Nebraska

We had a nice, albeit, hot and humid, weekend in Hastings, Nebraska. Although neither of us struck gold, between the two of us we did very well and had a fun time. Pam did take some photo's of me detecting in the deep silver hunt, that is were I found the Peace Dollar. However, I'm not gonna...

    V3i for beginner?

...you decide to buy the V3i. Now, you are not going to just buy the detector. You will buy the detector, the headphones, maybe a second coil, digging tools, and much more after that. You probably now have at this time over 2K invested into one detector. Now fast forward a few months and you...

    V3i for beginner?

MXT or an M6. Get used to detecting with one of those first. Find out if you will even like the hobby first. Then make the quantum leap to the V3i. JMHO. Back in 2000 I started out with an XLT. That was way too much detector for me as a beginner. A lot to learn and a HUGE learning curve for...

Sharing custom programs is going to be tough:stars:

...it won't be all that hard. Want to share a program? Provide all the items that you made changes to. Tell the person the base program settings that you used (Coin, relic, etc.) and then just provide the modified settings to the person or persons you are sharing it with. You don't have to give...

WOOT! Looks like I'm finally gonna get to go home this Saturday!

We have been cutting over a new Node here at Vandenberg AFB in preparation for the shutting down of the old node up in Sunnyvale Ca. (Onizuka AFS). We have been "on hold" since yesterday waiting for a test launch here at VAFB. http://www.vandenberg.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123208004 It...

Hey Deathwind!! I got my V3i back from Sweet Home Yesterday!!!!!

Only problem for me is that I am in California right now and will not be able to run my new-new detector through its paces until I get back home. And it is looking like that won't be until around the 7th of June. Danged work is getting in the way of the important stuff like DETECTING!!!!! :grin...

Oh no wheres that gone ??

I'm guessing you turned your gain up until the detector overloaded and then turned it back down until it became stable. How about trying that with the V3i. My guess is that it will work the same way.
