    After the storm........gold still in the pawn shops

    J-man is back from FL and collecting clad. We hit a couple of our favorite spots after the storm, many targets to dig but the gold remains hiding. Found a big piece of bling that was once upon a time gold plated, and a nice .925 ring.

    Old stuff today

    The J-man is still in the land of sunshine and only finding clad. I headed out this morning to catch low tide. It is very sanded in once again and the sand bars are soft and rippled. I found a couple of low spots and then hit the high tide mark, came out with a very old locket.

    Foggy morning turned out golden bright.......

    J-man and I got up way before the sun came up and headed out to the lane. It was kind of foggy with an overcast sky making conditions just right for RF interference with the Excal. I had a lot of falsing for the first 90 minutes until the sun started to burn the clouds away taking the RF...

    Nitro of a different nature showed up..............

    We had a nasty windstorm yesterday that took down power lines and trees. It shook up the sands as there were many targets today. I found a nice Opal set in silver pendant but the stone was broken (Opal's break very easily). J-man got a Nitro of a differenet nature in his scoop and on closer...

    I'm off to start the new job today..........

    First hot day of summer.........

    With all the rain we have had and it ruined the tomatoes, today was the first hot day that we have had all summer. We took off for the lane before the phone could ring calling me in for over time. Hubby found a couple of junk rings and I got a heavy weight .925.

    Lake hunt with many targets...........

    With all the foul clouds that we have been having lately we decided to hit upon a lake instead of the lane. 28 days and 22 of them have had rain. There were many targets to hit upon and the J-man got 7 cars out of one hole. No jewelry but it was fun anyhow.

    Lake hunt instead of the lane today..........

    Too many days of rain up here in CT........out of 28 days we have had 22 days with rain. So instead of heading to the lane we decided to hit a local lake hoping to get some time in between the foul clouds. There were many targets but no jewelry to be found. J-man hit upon 7 cars in one hole.
