    For those of you who don't know what the "lane" is....it's the water's edge at the ocean. Been busy making plans to move down into the same neck of the woods where Ed lives.....move over Ed!! Got a bunch of junk and something heavey with very thick crustation on it......may be several coins...

    Saturday was a crowded day at one beach......only clad found in the water and one small toe ring. Monday evening was very nice.....J-man and I headed off to another beach. It was almost deserted but the loot was to be found. I pulled a nice 14K gold wedding band from the water. Pictures...

    Waters are starting to warm up............more depositors getting wet.............:cam:

    Late afternoon stroll down the lane, many more depositors getting wet. Left J-man at home tonight.....he had some chores to tend to. All tickets were found in waist to chest deep water. Excal found a tiny little silver heart with rhinestones again!!

    J-man got another White's PI......he still loves the Excal.......but wants a machine for the chest deep waters where there is no trash but will go deep. Nice evening......many more people tonight.......usual clad and junk......Silver E pendant and a small 10k gold heart pendant with rinestones.

    Visit to the lane late last evening..........NITRO in J-man's scoop..... :cam::minelab:

    Visit to the lane after work last evening..........many people out walking after the thunderboomers. Small amount of clad and the usual pull tabs and can slaw. J-man got a NITRO in his scoop..... was dark and all he could see was the sparkles.......it sure looked good.....Heavily encrusted...

    Beautiful warm day.........but slim pickins today

    Low tide was around 9:30am.........beach somewhat sanded in, targets deep. Not a lot of depositors at this lane today when I left at noon. Better days are coming here soon.

    It started out as a bad hunt day..........then turned around :detecting:...........:cam:

    Left work early, grabbed the Excal with what I though was 2 charged batteries and left my Quattro at home yesterday. Met up with a friend in the lane and started detecting.......suddenly the famous Excal death squeal from the battery....OK.....change it. Fifteen minutes later.....same story...
