    I have experienced the same thing on the wet or dry sand, really good tone and screen doesn't change. And every time I dig it a bobby pin. My solution, I know its a bobby pin I just keep moving.

    In addition to the weight of the detector I went all out and bought the titanium scoop with carbon fiber handle from CKG, wow what a game changer also. You have to pick it up and hold it to believe how light it is. Now, I'm a digging fool and I can go all day without any arm fatigue what so ever.

    Whats the Scoop on this Scoop?

    So the discoloration is nothing to be concerned about and no cause to worry about rusting out in the future. I use it almost daily and always rinse off after use. I figured for a brand new scoop it would look new, scoops I've seen look clean and polished not discolored. tvr thanks for the reply

    Legend new coils coming and programming info video

    Thanks for the link, just completed download. It took a couple of tries, but finally got it to go using windows. The video is hard to watch, to fast and the letters are unreadable, I had to keep pausing to try and make it work.
