    I guess so. The V3 hits on the small amount in this vile: I put White's new GMZ on the same sample. The V3 was about the same in depth --- 2 inch. I would not buy the V3 just for gold hunting. BUT,,,,If you end up in an area that has gold, I think I could make the V3 work for gold. Jerry

    Can you use other Bluetooth headphones?

    I would think you can plug the transmit unit into the 1/4 inch jack. And just put the head set on. Your not using the White's wireless system! Jerry
