    The NON ---> V <--- coils will work on the V3. No board damage. The coils just may not work up to 100% of what the NEW --> V <-- rated coils will. Jerry

    I am sure you will get it. But A lot of others just don't take the time to test a new coil out. Just a few times out with the cardboard test and they learn the coil and detector too. Good Luck Jerry

    Look on the mounting ear/tab -- the place you put the plastic bolt One side has numbers---Look for a --> V = Made for the V3 Jerry

    After you get the pinpoint down...Place other targets on the cardboard---like a pull tab or bottle cap. Then try to pick the GOOD target from the BAD!!! It can be FUN Jerry

    HOW CAN YOU HAVE A PROBLEM?????? Put a coin down and LOOK at it! Pin point it---DONE Place a coin on a piece of cardboard---OFF CENTER! Tape in place! Now turn cardboard over and spin it on the ground You don't know were the target is. NOW play with your detector and pinpoint till you learn...
