    I thought I found a small lead button, but now I'm not sure .....

    I've been playing around with the photos I took on the UK trip. Now getting around to closely examining photos of the not too exciting, but still neat stuff. Its always fun to find old buttons and all of us found a bunch of them. Many with the attachment loop still unbroken / not bent ...

    Here is a bit of historical info on the pedestal seal I found ....

    More UK trip photos ....

The Mayor showed us all the good stuff he found with his detector then took us on a tour of the area to show us fields he got us permission to detect and some pretty neat scenery along the cliffs of the north sea...

    Today begins the big adventure. I'll meet up with Bubba about 3:00 in Charlotte, then we meet up with Keith in PHIL about 7:30.....

    ..... then about 3:00 AM tomorrow USA east coast time we land in Manchester.... about 8:00 AM UK time. We'll be detecting sometime after 2:00 or 3:00 PM UK time. Jet lag for sure. Bubba, you gunna order Chicken for dinner up there in 1st class?
