    5x10 coil feedback

    Hi guys. Sending off my mono coil for repair and really will miss it. Was thinking of picking up a 5x10 infinium d d coil for the ATX. Anyone with thoughts about that v the mono would be interested. Guess I will gain "iron check". Any major depth difference?

    uh oh....my favourite coil seems faulty

    1797 cartwheel penny. ..from the water

    Fairly worn...basically very very worn. Appears to be a 1797 cartwheel uk penny. Can make out the 7 (not clear in photo.) Found today at a local beach. A fairly unusual find for NZ. No gold however ; (. Just 1 silver ring.

    9ct Signet....another one up!

    Went for an evening hunt the night before last. The new beach i have been hunting is now starting to sand back in :( managed to squeeze out another small 9ct signet ring. Poor signal as the ring is split at the bottom of the band (common on 9ct old rings). Hope to get out again this weekend...

    Back in the water today at a beach I thought - incorrectly - that I had "done too much". Had the 7mm wetsuit, snorkel and mask and the atx. At one stage popped out of the water to see a guy on the beach with a minelab bbs sov. Quietly laughing - as I have been over that spot so many times...
