    Took my new to me old DFX out for the first time today.

    I found a 52 Rosie,36 Mercury,a small sterling silver ring,a 36 wheatie and 75 cents in clad. I think I got the general feeling for this detector but would like to know more. Does anyone know where I can scrounge Jeff Fosters book on the DFX.

    Three nickel day.

    Yesterday I found 3 nickels before my arm cuff broke and aborted my hunt. I found a 1950 Jefferson,an unidentifiable dated Buffalo and a 1901 V nickel within 10' of each other. I shall return even if I have to swing my AT without the cuff until I get another cuff.

    My arm cuff broke today.

    I was swinging away and all of a sudden I feel excessive play in my swing. I took it off and my arm cuff had split on one side all the way down the seam. I quess it hit hard on a soft target. Does anyone know where I can get an arm cuff?

    Would an aircraft vectoring signal affect a metal detector at a distance?

    I was hunting a yard today that is within a mile of an aircraft vectoring tower. I kept getting a contant blip out of my AT-Pro and nothing I would adjust would stop it.
