    sniper coil vs. dd coil ?

    I hunted a couple large lots today...used the sniper coil on the 3d0....I did aweful...plus I rarelt got that nice bell tone of ding ding ding.....it was more like ding.........ding.........ding.....and many times I dug my plug and my signal went awat....am I doin somethin wrong ?
