    why is the KHz so important?

    I have been looking at upgrading and have been looking at the whites GMT and the Garrett AT Gold I went to Kellyco and ran a side by side comparison and from that the only difference I saw was the GMT ran at 48 KHz and the AT Gold only at 18 so what is the Big difference/

    I have another brand besides a Garrett, and wonder if any Techs monitor this forum. On the forum for my other detector there are at least 2 techs that monitor there forum.It is useless to post a problem and try t find a solution if you never get feedback.
