    My Kruzer never leaked. Ever. If I were to get a Legend, I would have no problem dunking it. How many Simplex detectors have you heard about leaking compared to the Nox ? almost everyone I know who uses a 'waterproof Minelab or Nokta / Malro device never ger close to 10' depths This right here...

    If it doesn't leak why do they need a longer warranty. I own a leakquinox and have never dunked it in fear of it leaking. My Kruzer never leaked. Nokta build quality smokes the Nox all day.

    Sounds very advanced and brings detecting technology to a new level. This great for the hobby. There's multiple ways to have SMF. Would love to see beach video's from America as I hunt beaches quite often living on the gulf coast.

    I couldn't ever imagine hunting a beach with a 6" coil. As the saying goes, miss it by an inch, miss it by a mile. A few questions. Is that a saltwater beach ? What was your iron bias ? Were you in F1 or F2 ? What was your recovery speed ? I hunt the beach a lot and I'm curious what your setting...

    I would choose something other than 4khz. 4khz will make a lot of targets sound good. The vdi number in 4khz is substantially different than the other frequencies.

    Whites had a patent for a detector that combined PI and VLF. Garrett owns that patent now. If Garrett can make that come to fruition, it would be new tech. I think Whites just didn't want to spend or have the resources to continue development.

    I have a separate lower rod for every coil. It's the quickest way to change coils and you don't wear out your coil bolt.

    I go waist deep. Still want an 11" coil. I also do wet sand and an 11" is better than a small coil.

    Well I'm 58 and I'm still going to vote for an 11" coil. There needs to be an in between coil from the 11 and 6 inch. 6 inch for me is just way too small, even on land.

    11" is as small as I want to hunt with on a beach. Anything under that would feel like hunting with a 6" on land.

    Ya, I hope the standard coil is NOT an 8 or 9 inch coil. Beach hunting is not conducive to small coils. SMF shines on beaches and hunting with that small of a coil would be frustrating.

    Monte in fairness to the weight comparisons of the Racer 2 and Multi Kruzer, the Kruzer is waterproof where the Racer is not. I loved my Multi Kruzer. It would find the goodies in trash and I usually hunted with the 5x9.5. That said, I sold it this week to my cousin to get ready for the SMF...
