New open space fields one gives up 1796 Spanish!

nice. Those silver halves make a person's day when they come up. A Franklin half was my first old coin I dug this year. I miss seeing them when they don't pop up again. Dave

New open space fields one gives up 1796 Spanish!

Awesome find and picture Mark. Bet it took a little effort to swing in that grass. Nice you took your Dad with to share that. My Dad turned 95 this summer. A few years he was finding some clad quarters under a fairgrounds bleacher when I was detecting. He was happy to get those. Dave

Standing, Barber Quarters, Canadian Large Cent and Some Interesting Relics

thanks Jimmy! I would really like to see a colored display on the screen. I use a hood cover also and sometimes with the glare of the sun I have to squint to see my display. The large number display does help though so it isn't like the old Etrac. Maybe I need to research my contrast settings a...

Finds are from the past few weekends since my last post. All finds were found at researched public sites with my XP Deus 2 machines. Got a bucket lister today

Nice find. Definitely a 1926 because of the stars on the reverse. Those SLQs are always great to find. I pulled the same year SLQ a couple of weeks ago with similar wear.
