Explorer II software versions?-are they all 2.03?

Just wondering if they are all the same unlike the XS...TIA...HH

I am amazed to see all the CZ's especially, CZ-5's and 6A's on ebay right now:wacko:

Is this is a trickle down effect from the F75?

Free to good home-White's Classic III box-you just pay shipping...

I received a Fisher CZ in this box recently. Clean inside, missing plastic handle, covered with lovely brown packing tape that I decided to leave alone to not tear it up. I figured I'd offer it to someone out there who may have a Clasic III without the original box-I hate to throw it out-I like...

FYI-The F-75 manual is available on the Kellyco website...

Is it necessary to "dig everything" above iron or...

can I use the T2 like my CZ-70 with 4 tones? If the tones and the TID are "reliable", even for deeper targets, then can the machine be used in this manner? Personally, I'm just not a beep-dig kind of hunter of everything above iron(even though I know that this is the way to find all of the...

I was just wondering how you guys find your deep targets in a hole...

I'm now so used to the X-1 Probe on the Explorers that I had, now still using my CZ-5 and 3D with the FZ-1 Probe...just wondered what everyone is using out there since the Sunray probes help so much to ID that specific target you're digging for...thanks in advance...HH P.S. I'm considering...

One of my biggest questions about the F-75 is in regard to the number system/expanded segments...

Somewhat of a corollary would be the XTerras-each model expanded the segments-I found the 50 to nicely lock on good targets and bounce on trash; the 70 would bounce quite a bit and not "lock on" good targets like the 50. Now with the T2 and the F75, I find this to be of significant interest to...

Honestly, I've never even seen a T2 in person before so my question is -do you have to dig every non-iron signal(dig everything) or can you "cherry pi

I've had so many ID detectors-with the Explorer XS/II, XTerras 50/70, Coinstrike/ID Edge-all of these outside of the CZ's, I found that I dug quite a bit of trash targets as well compared to CZ's when coin hunting. I mainly coin hunt at old sites so I was just wondering how this machine would...

I would be happy to offer my services to First Texas to field test the F-75 here in Northern Ohio...

I have a bunch of great sites to use it; particularly early sites that I've hit hard with CZ's and an Explorer II/Xterras...I could take a week or two off of work and really put it through it's paces...HH

I think it's time for First Texas to design/release a DD coil for CZ's...

I know I would buy one and many others...I can't imagine it would be hard to design/manufacture one...would "revive" the interest in CZ's for sure. A new CZ design with the "iron-liking" issue resolved would be a big seller for sure...albeit First Texas is probably way ahead of me on this, if...

:thumbdown:After looking out my window and seeing the blizzard out there, it now really makes even more sense to me for First Texas to wait until Marc

so that TH'ers in Northern climes who will have the highest level of "cabin fever" at that time will just have to have to latest and the greatest...just like the new Bass Pro Shops catalog release :bouncy:

Has anybody noticed this new First Texas/Fisher product yet?...just saw it this morning...

on a relic hunter dealer's website...looks like the green Teknetics pinpointer in a different color? [attachment 48096 fisher_pinpointer_scan2-728x2701.jpg]

If you haven't already read it, you should really look at Thomas Dankowski's website for GREAT info on the T2 in the discussion board posts :detecting

Really insightful info on set-up and use...I really give NASA-Tom credit for his "testing" and willingness to share...Thanks once again, Tom. His video provides T2 info as well...really good stuff and nice for us snowbound hunters to have something to review over the LONG Winter...Hope it...

I just received my Edge yesterday...

the control box is so small and the detector is so light it feels almost like a toy. The battery doors are not my favorite, nor the headphone plug in the back. I've had Coinstrikes but I find this one to be a little harder to just set it and go, so I'll be reading the manual tonight to...

An Open Post to First Texas...

I received an e-mail from a long time Fisher user today that pretty much says it all: "its terrible that First Texas isnt addressing all these questions about the new fishers or even aquiring fisher isnt it? I think they should come on the forums and just make a few statements that they are now...

Albeit a lot of you out there are holding onto your CZ's waiting to see what the F-4 and F-75 performance will turn out to be...

only time will tell...I'm still surprised how cheap CZ's go for now...a real bargain for great detectors. One thing about many of these digital detectors is the electrical interference around power lines. Apparently it's better with the Edge which I haven't used but the Coin$trike always drove...
