    Finally, a day in the upper 30's, no snow now in SWMO. Went to the ol' reliable camp where the pickin's are slim. Managed to get a big .69 3 ringer and some other lead. The .22 bullets were DEEP, 8-9 inches!! Man, that 18.75 DD 10.5" really is sensitive!!!! Anyways, more snow on the way this...

    Got this bad boy today, gonna snow tonight........can't wait to get out and swing it, seems light thou. Yea, I prefer the old Explorer lower rods, same weight as the new carbon rods, just sand them down until they slide in. They have WAY less play in them!!!

    Lower Rods

    I love my Safari so far, but the only gripe I have is the lower carbon fiber rod that they use. One I have will tighten up great and the other one is loose no matter where I position it. I have found a cure.....get the old Explorer XS rod, it is shaped like the middle stem and will slip right in...

    I just picked up one off the forum. Man I can't wait to get it on the ground. Air tests just as good as the Pro Coil and ID's are good and strong. Hope to get out this weekend if the snow melts and the ground thaws enough to dig!!!...........MO
