    Pot values for CZ ?

    I have a circuit board for the CZ20 with no pots connected. Does anyone know the values on the pots for any of the CZ models, 5-6-7-20. They should all be the same. Thought about trying to put it together for a winter project Thanks, Mark

    SearchScan 650 PI

    I have a Searchscan 650 PI board that doesnt have any pots, coil, or hd. phones hooked to it. I was wondering if anyone knew how to hook up the pots, etc. to this board, and the values of the pots. It was basically a copy of a Whites Surfmaster PI.

    Goldbug 11" coil ?

    Which is deeper, useing the same size coil, on a nickel, salt water beach. The Mark 2 or the Infinium? I dont care about the disc. features, just need to know about the depth.

    $325

    $325- Thats what it cost to have my Safari repaired. Wasnt under warranty. They replaced the complete circuit board, since the couldnt find which part was the problem.

    Goldscan 5c VS Goldquest ss V3

    Which detector would be the deepest the Goldscan 5c or the Goldquest ssV3 on a 56 cal. CW bullet. In med. to heavy mineralized ground, with no disc. Also how would the depth of either machine compare to the Whites TDI?

    Minelab Repair Service !!

    Sent my Safari in last week to have it repaired. I was told it will take 30 buisness days or the equilavent of 6 weeks. It makes me wonder how many Minelabs are broke down at one time. Hopefully they will get it done faster, but I am not holding my breath.

    Has anyone tried Coilteks Platypus coil? It is 11 1/2" x 8 1/2". I bought one that I should be getting early next week, to use on my Safari. Only problem now is my Safari crapped out yesterday. Sent it in for repair today. Dont know how long it will take to get the Safari back. I was hopeing it...

    Minelab Service ???

    Just sent off my Safari to have it fixed. It is stuck in the overload screen. Tried to get the lady I talked to, to connect me with one of their technicians. She said that wasnt allowed !! I was hopeing the tech. might be able to help me fix the problem over the phone instead of haveing to send...

    Overload Problem

    Today while I was digging a target with my Safari, it started showing overload. Turned it off and back on and all I get is Overload. Cleaned coil cover changed batteries, and put on another coil, still all it shows is overload. Anyone run into this problem before? Need contact info for Minelab...

    Hot Hunt

    Got out to a hunted hard church today. I probably have hunted it about a dozen times with various detectors. First time with the Safari. Found 0ne merc. 1941, and 2 indians, 1887, 1897. Getting a little warm around here, 88 deg. Might have to start hiting the lakes.

    Found my first silver coin with my Safari. Turned out to be a Love token. Found in one of our older parks about 7". We have several Etrac users in town that hit the parks, I guess they cant get it all.

    If you were to turn the sens. down in manual to where it would find a coin at the same depth as you get in auto. Which would be the better setting to use and why?

    Silver Dollar # ?

    I was wondering what # a silver dollar reads on the Safari. I read where you could disc. out #40 to eliminate some iron falseing. Wanted to make sure I didnt disc. out a $1 by doing this. Anyone tested one before? Thanks, Mark

    New Safari Owner

    Just traded a competitors top of the line relic machine for a Safari. Hope I made the right move. I will try and put on some post when I get out with it. Any suggestions on the best way to hunt with it would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
