    This park I go to now and again has given up some great old coins in the past. Its hard anymore to sniff one out but every once in awhile you can nab one. Unless the coins are silver in this park they usually don't come outta the ground to good. I think the one side looked better before...

    Found a bunch of Indian heads today...

    Me and a buddy went door knockin after work today. Got the ok at an old home that the owner told me a guy had already detected but said we could if we wanted. Man did he miss a lot. I found a record amount of Indian heads for me in one outting. The real total would of been 11 but I gave two...

    Found a few older coins out in the cold today....

    A 1906 V nickel, 1882 Indian head with full Liberty and a little silver too. Was cold out here in Michigan but it was sunny so it wasn't that bad. Had fun diggin some older ones.

    First time out since Jan. Found a little silver..

    A rare New Years Day detecting jaunt.. 1-1-11

    Can't believe our ground here in southern lower Michigan is all thawed out after only two days with temps in the high 40s to low 50s and rain. So I went out to an old school house site that I have pounded in the past and found one lone find. This 1904 Indian. Good start to the New Year.
