    Fisher F4 vs Discovery 3300

Hello guys, after a short internet brake I'm back with the F4 vs Discovery 3300 comparison. [attachment 58073 F4.jpg] Let me start with the hardware: The F4 is a 3 pole design and the 3300 just a two pole. The F4 has the better grip and armrest. The Fisher hardware seems to be the better...

    The perfect F75 settings......

There is not a perfect setup everyone can use. It all depends on location , ground condition and what you are looking for. In an open field with less trash and no interference you can try JE mode with high sensitivity settings and low disc. The detector basicly tells you when you...

For those posting problems with the F75..........

Please include your settings with your post: 1. Which mode ? DE, JE, BC or PF 2. Disc setting ? 3. GB number while Fastgrab ? 4. Fe3 O4 read out ? One more thing...make sure your cellphone is turned off...really off...not on standby. I don't even use a coil cover because i don't want it to...

    Is it just me ???

I like the F75 more every day i use it. I feel I turned from the "number one T2 basher" (that's overhauled too) to the number one F75 "hyper". Let me know how you guys like yours. Andy,NM

Found something bad on the F75........

The batterie meter dropped one bar from full after 30 hours of detecting. I thought it will always stay on full . When the alkalines are dead i put in rechargeables anyway :super: . Andy,NM

F75 ...what i know so far......

    1. Cancel all notching and when in DE mode set disc to 5 if you hear some internal noice. If you don't have noice or it don't bother you set disc to 4 because that adds inches of depth. The hot zones are disc 0 to 4 and again 20 and up. These zones seem to have higher gain in DE mode. But if you...

Teknetics T2 update......( frorm the "basher" himself )

My second T2 with the updates works really well and does not have the problems my first one had. It is a good choice for the guys who can't buy the Fisher F75 because you can buy a used T2 for 400 to 450 $ now. For that money it is a very good value. Make sure you get one with the updates...

    F75 and T2....

I got the T2 with the updates and have to say it is a very good detector, but for me not as good as the Fisher F75. Here's why: F75 has: - Backlight The always on backlight gave me some extra hunting time when it was getting dark. Once you have that it is hard to live without it. - Target...

Got my second T2 in today......

I bought a used T2 with the upgrades and had very little time to play with it in my backyard. This T2 seems to be totally different from the first one i had. Even with sensitivity at 90 it was stable. I feel that my F75 is noisier than this T2. On the other side my first impression is that it...

How to overcome the ground chatter of the F75.....

When using fast-grab the detectors seems to be right on with the ground balance. It is so good that after ground balancing every tiny change in the ground matrix is seen as a target. I use fast-grab first and then change to manual ground balance and GB the detector plus 3 numbers. So if fastgrab...
