    First official 3D hunt

    Actually the first hunt was a test run and i found one Indian Head. This morning we hit a farm field that we have hit many times. I found a few relics and only one coin, but its my oldest US coin 1842 Dime lots of detail but the pic is week.About 7 inches down and rang loud and clear.

    Is your 3D out of tune

    That's what i asked myself when i picked up a used 1021 CZ 3D. Tom D said to take 100 Clean Nickles out of circulation and test in Enhanced mode 5 to 6 inches from coil. 20 - 35% would hit on round pull tab the rest will hit on Nickle icon. Well i used 104 Nickles and not one hit as a Nickle...
