    Took the Sovereign out

    The ground is basically frozen here.I took the GT out for it's second hunt.I took it to the parking area of a local rodeo grounds.I found 6 quarters,1 dime and 3 pennies.I had to chip the coins out of the ground.One quarter was 6 inches deep.The meter really is helping me learn the difference...

    I just ordered a new Sovereign GT and meter tonight.

    And the ground is offical frozen.I went out this afternoon and chipped a silver dime and silver quarter out of frozen mud.It took over a half hour to "retrieve" to these coins.I'll either have to bring a box of dirt in the house to practice with the Sov. or go south for part of the winter.Bill

    Hi Ho Silver!!
