    Finally the WASP surviving women who flew military aircraft during WWII got awarded today. Sadly there are only a few hundred alive to see this day. They flew B-17's allowing gunners to learn to fire from an aircraft at moving targets as well as fighter planes. God bless that generation. Women...

    This is in Houston TX. The woman is going into a public restroom in the first photo. The second photo show the inside looking out. It is entirely made up of one way glass! That's gotta be a strange feeling.

    OK you Virginians

    Congratulations on Miss Virginia winning the Miss America padgent. Not that any of you had anything to do with it! Personally I was hoping Miss Louisiana would win, she was amazing on the piano! Not to mention it would give Elson something to rub in our faces.

    This is the work of Young C. Park who is in his 70's and has been building models since he was a kid. He is in Hawaii where he builds all parts by hand, hand hammering the aluminum panels. If I remember I read he spends upwards of 7000 hours on a plane. All cables and levers are functional same...

    If you haven't seen "Hurt Locker" yet, rent it.

    It had gotten great reviews, about a group of Army grunts assigned to disarm IED's in Iraq. I enjoyed it.
