New 5/16 knurled nut and bolt set-up

Just received the custom made 5/16" nut and bolt upgrade for my Excalibur. It will work on any coil assembly using up to a 5/16" opening. Bolt is 5/16" x 2.5" - see how it compares to the stock 1/4"... Made from 30% reinforced fiberglass 6/6 nylon (most stock bolts are just 6/6 nylon). I had to...

Excalibur II - out of the box - seems cheaply made - thoughts

new to the metal detecting world I know the unit is great BUT the pole hardware and nut/bolt assembly was really done cheaply - can't even tighten the coil nut enough to keep the coil from moving (to the touch) - should i use a wrench to hold down the nut side while i tighten the wing nut...

Pioneer 505 Northeast Saltwater Beach ??

Just got a BH 505 as a $75 add-on with my Minelab Excalibur II order from KellyCo for the wife to use to tag along.
