    remote lanyard

    Just a little advice, use the lanyard with the remote. A hunter just lost his remote in tall grass. He did know it fell off. Now he is trying to figure out how to find it.

    Deus 2 for Tall Detectorist?

    I am 6' 2", and the original shaft is set at 4 1/2. That only leaves a little shaft left inside the upper, but I have not had any problems yet. So I would say a longer shaft would help a lot.

    Look on YouTube and find Gary's video on updating the D2 to 0.7. he explains exactly what to do, and I had no problem with either unit.

    Need an XP Deus2 charger cord.

    I think you use the three-way cable for charging the remote, but you need to use the single cable for the ws6 puck. At least that is that I use and it charges fine.

    I tried the update on the deus II today. I do not like the delay they put on the numbers. I went over targets that read 2 and was able to target two more things before it changed the number. if you have targets close to each other you have to wait a couple seconds to see what the second target id's

    I have read a few posts about EMI between XP Deus II and the Nox. Has anyone had any problems between the D1 hunting next to the D2.

    Deus 1 Gets It Done !!!

    I am keeping my D1, I have a D2 and so far, I have not found anything that the D1 would not find. I think the D2 might be better on the beach, but time will tell.

    Deus II and MI-6

    I have had problems with my MI-6 pairing and staying connected to my Deus II. Someone said there is an upgrade to fix that problem. The only upgrade I know of is for the big numbers. Is there a third upgrade that addresses the MI-6 problem?

    xp Deus 2 vs ctx3030

    It's all about knowing your detector, get proficient with the sounds. So far, everything I have gut could be found by most detectors, 6 to 8". The key is getting the coil over the target which is a small area when the target is deep.
