    Went to one of my honey holes and pulled out 34,40 mercs 46 rosie 1894 IH 6 wheats 2 buckles and only 11 cents in clad wow hope the rest of the year keeps up like this.

    I just got the 5.3 eclipse V rated coil. I went outside and dug a test garden.... clad dimes at 2",4", 6", 8-10". I changed the coil settings for the 5.3 on the menu and started swinging 2" no prob the 4" and 6" were blurps that rang up as zincs the rest undetectable. I tried adjusting disc and...

    That is very true cause it only happens on certain grounds with rich soil, sand and wooded areas its closer to the correct number. Ill try to do the correlate instead of best data. Thanks for the info very helpful thread for me .

    I have had the same issue with the VDI reading 91 on silver dimes and clad quarters, also zincs at 45-50 and wheats at 83 84 normal copper pennies at 61-76 range. Stupid question.... how do you normalize VDI?

    The mercury dime was at 7 inches on edge with a jumpy 91-96-89 signal with 2.5 and 7.5 frequencies even. Lately the wheat's are coming in as dimes and quarters and silver has been in the iron range. However I know that if 2.5 is dominant or dead even with 7.5 its usually worth digging. Thanks...
