    Got to agree, the WS6 headphones are terrible. I really wish I could use my WS5 headphones on my Deus 1. Those are great headphones and I really miss them.

    Head Phone Question

    I guess I missed this in the manual. I didn't know you could do this, will any GG's do this with a 1/8" jack and adapter cable ? I would prefer to go wired than deal with the back phones.

    Really don't like the WS6 headphones

    Thanks to all that replied and for your comments. Looks like the only good choices currently for wireless phones are Quest and Grey Ghosts. And the only choice for wired phones if you wade deep or dive are the BH-01's.

    Really don't like the WS6 headphones

    !st time out today and I struggled with these headphones all day. Never felt comfortable with them, I'm used to the WS5's on my Deus 1. Lots of wind and wave noise. The BH01's look like they would fit better. Anyone tried the Grey Ghost, looking for feedback? The detector. worked fine...

    I'm receiving mine soon. I'll hold off on the updates a bit. I'm not too worried about it, I have the D! and it's a great machine. Looks like the Legend needs updates also.

    Wow that's terrible Tom. I wouldn't worry about upsetting people, it is what it is. I'm hoping you just got a bad one and it gets replaced. I almost bought the Legend, glad I held off. Thanks for your honest post.

    Cleaning coins in a rock tumbler

    Waterdog, I haven't tumbled coins in years but if I remember right, I used cream of tartar in my gravel. Just a couple spoonfuls and the coins came out bright and shiny. Give it a try and let us know how it worked. (separate the pennies)

    Wireless headphones can't be used once the remote is submerged. (signal will be lost correct?). The BH01 headphones may not be the best choice as all the wind and wave noise may be pretty distracting. I'm looking at the FX-03's. Has anyone used these , do they have adequate ear coverage to...

    Will Deus 1 be obsolete?

    I'm very happy with the Deus 1. I'm buying a 2 because I'm only 5 minutes from the beach. If I lived farther inland I'd just stick with the 1.
