    First Jewelry with the ACE

    Made a good find yesterday, it is a high school pendent ( East Hanover High School ) It got my blood pumping to see that gold. I am sure it is just a plated piece but its my first piece of jewelry with the ACE. Can't wait to find more!!

    No luck at the old house

    When I got off work Friday I grabbed my ACE and headed for the old home site with high hopes.     ACE 250 trial run

With the 6.5x9 coil on full sensitivity I got consistent readings on coins at 6 + inches which is about what I was expecting.     Classic 5 ID vs. ACE 250

    I am ready for a new machine, but can't decide if I want the Whites classic 5 or the Garrett ACE 250. There is plenty to read out there about how great the ACE is but I haven't found much on the Classic 5 ID. Does anybody have one or know anything about this machine? Thanks, Bill

    Can you buy an ACE 250 cheaper than Kellyco, they have a package deal for $297 which includes the ace and two search heads and some other stuff. I haven't looked anywhere else.
