    Coinstrike --- Edge ????????

I've had the C$ for about three years now and love the crap out of this machine - this spring I bought a ID Edge for a backup and for the wife or son to use when they wanted to tag along. Here's my question - the few times I have used the Edge, it just doesn't seem to have the same amount of...

    The wheatie yard................

Hunted this old house yard full of wheat cents (26 in all) with the C$ - was a little disappointed in the silver total, as only one Mercury Dime popped up - was a very enjoyable hunt overall, plus dug about (50) clad coins. HH - Hawkeye Jim.

    Which would you choose??????????????????

Hey everyone, I know there's no such thing as a "bad" Fisher, and being a C$ user this past year, I really love the way it works. I have not had the opportunity to use the ID Excel or the new ID Edge, but here's the "BIG" question, especially for those who have used both or all three - IF YOU...

Got permission to hunt an old house yard, but the owner stated someone had already went through it pretty good a few years back. Well, the C$ was up for the challenge and came through again!!!:fisher: Took me a couple of days after work to finish the yard, but came away with a Tootsie Toy...

    Back to the homestead........................

Didn't find a whole lot more - but did find this neat old jack knife. The front says "Frary" and the other side says "Our Boy". Did a little research on the knife and it was made by the Frary Cutlery Company, Bridgeport, CT, around 1876 to 1884. Also got an old Indian Head nickel, couple of...

Had an old house site (1845) all lined up, with permission granted, for my vacation in October. The old house site sits across the street from my sister's house. Well, my sister emailed me that the owner of the old house site has changed her mind!!! Seems she told her son she granted me...

Finally detected an old house yard that has not been previously detected - only got about a third of the way done when the rains came, but found the following: two silver dimes: 1892 Barber and 1947 Roosy; two Indian Head pennies: 1898 and 1899; a no-date Buffalo; couple of wheaties; and an...

    C$ freezing up!!!

Anyone had this problem - on about four different occasions now, my C$ has frozen up on me - will be working fine, and all of a sudden I notice the ID numbers are not changing and when you press any of the keypads, no response. I have to shut down the C$, restart and then it's back to normal...

    My good deed!!!

A local farmer called me today with a problem - seems he was filling silage into a bin and a gear came off of his equipment and apparently got pushed into the bin of silage with a skid loader - he advised none of the local farm parts stores had the gear he needed and wanted to know if I could...

    The Big "M"

Today I reached my goal with the C$ - found my 1,000th coin - which happened to be a Georgia State quarter (at least it wasn't a zinc penny) - LOL. In case anyone is wondering about nickels - out of a total of (1006) coins - (74) were nickels - which gives a percentage of 7.36%. HH - Hawkeye Jim.

    The 40's yard!!!

Recived a couple doses of rain this week, so I decided it was probably safe to detect this yard I had been given permission to hunt a while back - the house was built in 1928 and the yard was extremely trashy, but the Coin$trike came through, even though I dug more than my share of junk - I'm...
