    High Trash Program

once again, coil size does nothing but help with the depth to the target. You can hunt with a 4x6 and have 10"DD as your coil choice and all it does is affect the depth to target, everything else works as normal.

    High Trash Program

tips for new owner of vx3

I would suggest to see some of Fox's programs for the beach. I believe he hunts Florida beaches if I am not mistake. His programs are pretty hot, ie., high gain and such, but you can do this on beaches.

    What is this??

I found this on a vacant lot, gave a heck of a hit, being all copper! I have a nickel on top of it for size reference, but the "can" is just about the size of a tuna fish can. It kind of looks like the top part may come off, but the item is empty. On the side, it has a spot where it may have...

    Pewter Eagle button

Thanks, Texjim! I always like finding old stuff and this button is pretty old. Usually, I am trying to find something older than me for it to be a successful day. I think I have a little cushion from this one. And, of course, finding silver anywhere is always nice. Happy Hunting!!

    Pewter Eagle button

Thanks, PostalTwo. Pickings at the site where we go, are pretty slim. The good part though, is that we have a chance to find something over 150 yrs old.

    Pewter Eagle button

Well 2 or 3 weeks ago or so, I went detecting with a few buddies of mine and found some lead bullets, mini balls, shell casings and my first eagle button. I was happy to find it, since this place has been hunted for probably 20-30 years by more detectors than Carter has liver pills. I was a...
