    Thanks Jerry, The thread was helpful. Sounds like a trial on the machine itself is required to see if and how well a particular,(older),coil works. Maybe Carl could weigh in on how to perform such a test? (I am not particularly knowledgeable about coils and their subtleties). Drew.
