    Photos wanted: Confederate bits and hoof picks

    Metal detecting is my second favorite hobby to civil war reenacting, now Im combining the two. Im doing research on confederate bits and hoof picks so my farrier/ blacksmith and I can reproduce some for my reenacting unit. Any photos would be greatly appreciated.

    Tip for lefty's

    Ive got a pair of cheapo headphones with a long strechy cord. Well that floppy cord gets pretty annoying, im not sure about if your a righty...But while I was taking a little brak an idea hit me, I took off the little velcro strap that holds the coil wire to the shaft. I ran my headphone cord...
