    Davenports Deck

    Here a deck I just restored.It was really dead looking finish on it.Had to strip this one down to restore the finish.Mostly burl walnut with walnut,satinwood inlay.I forgot to get a good shot of the desk all done.Enjoy

    Me takem scalp

    This is the last ponytail I cut off my head.The first one I did was all brown hair.Next one I did was half/half,and this one is mostly gray.Made with root raped in sinew,glued on brain tan/smoked deer hide,Owl and hank feather,with trade beads.You don't see many of these hanging off the rearview...

    Flea market finds

    Got this 20 in.Rosewood/brass with hexagon steel screwdriver which was used as a paint mixer for years.It had about ten different colors on it.And this sweet framing chisel with pear-wood handle which was pretty rusty.Got the two of them for $10 bucks.Found the chisel on the web going for around...

    Well it's 56 out side this morning.

    And the first day of shotgun season.I don't ever remember it being this warm in the morning for hunting season.I'll try a hour or two in the morning and the same in the afternoon.I went scouting yesterday and saw two nice bucks and four does.

    Paul Revere bell returns to Boston.

    I've tryed it over a glass of water and a graden hose and it work for me.I try it with a fork branch and it was hard to stop it from not going down over water it just wanted to go down.:shrug:

    My first sale on Saturday had some nice stuff.Heres a few of the finds.

    The cut glass decanter and glass have pontoe bottoms and are from around 1830-1860.Birdseye maple saltbox with cut glass inkwell with silver top.And some new but cool Chinese in cases.
