    I only made that statment because you said that you had problems with the DFX on the beach. So maybe you will have problems with the V as well.

    Coil Cover Removal

    I don't use them, ever. I have never wore out a coil or even come close. And They get a lot of use. Never saw anybody with a wore out bottom of a coil.

    You guys got me all wrong. I love the V as much as I love the DFX and Whites. I just love to stir up poop sometimes. LMAO Some of you guys are so easy. Sensitivity in people these days. But really isn't the XLT the king? Oh and test gardens are for the veggies only.

    Anybody with experience knows test gardens don't equate with the real world of detecting and can't be used as a test the detector depth. I think most of us paid 1700.00 bucks for the V. So I still don't see any side by side comparisons done by experts. I am no expert so ,I don't count

    If you were not impressed with the depth of the DFX then the V may not be fot you either. I put the 10 inch DD coil on my DFX when the coil first came out and find it not to be that much different then the V as far as depth goes

    In a old yard, I think it depends on how it was used and by who. I start off with the larger coil first to see if there are a lot of targets close together. I don't consider a target as trash until I dig it up and see what it is. I dig most every thing in a old yard. If the targets are very...
