    FS~DFX package w/extras

    I have a DFX in very good to excellent condition. I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10. Control box has some minor scratches and scuffs. I am the second owner and bought it about a month or so ago.     MXT, sensitivity settings & heat ?!?

    I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this with their MXT. I was out hunting last week with the D2 coil in mild/mid ground mineralization. I was able to run the gain up to +1 to +2 before it would become unstable. Several hours into the hunt I suddenly couldn't run the gain past 8 or 9...

    Does the old-style stock DFX coil work on the MXT ?

    I have the old-style stock flat coil (BLM 950 I think) for the DFX. It has "DFX" with "Multiple Harmonic, Wide Band" on it. Is this coil completely compatible with the MXT ? I'm assuming it is but would like to know what an expert ( Larry ?!?) has to say. Thanks. HH Scott
